Greetings from the land of movers, boxes, and transitions - again! My husband has been named the next Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Baraboo, Wisconsin - close to Madison, in the gorgeous unglaciated region of central Wisconsin, so we are packing up and heading out. He begins on June 22nd. We are very excited for this new adventure! In the meanwhile, my very full schedule in 2009 continues. After a wonderful weekend in Florida, I have a brief break mid-summer before a busy autumn kicks off in August. Still dreaming about that next cd.... thanks for checking in! Will let you know where to find us when we land in Baraboo. Joyfully -----
Steph
ps - things I’m LOVING listening to right now are Laura Story ‘Mighty to Save’, Brenton Brown ‘Everlasting God’, and anything by Joni Mitchell. Feeling inspired!

New church, new school-year, new season! We’ve been in Baraboo exactly two months - today! So far, so good. Our little church in this quaint little town feels very much like home and, so far, like a very good fit. The kids are gearing up for school - our two oldest will begin at the local elementary school, our daughter will begin preschool/4K, and Ezra, who will be a year old in September, and I are going to roam the house looking for something to do! After two years of homeschooling, this is a might big change. We’re eager and hopeful. Check out the calendar page for a few events that have been added for this fall. Thanks for staying connected!

Happy TENTH anniversary to my sweet hubby and me. I can’t believe - CAN.NOT.BELIEVE - it has been 10 years. What a journey! I wouldn’t have my life any other way. Love you, Scott. I’m sitting at the Cove today with Anne Graham Lotz at her intensive Bible study week called Filling Up To Overflow. I’m full! :) Right now, the group is sharing the themes and divisions they’ve come up with from Ephesians 1. It’s pretty incredible to sit here and see how God speaks to a room full of people from different backgrounds and different faith journeys from the same passage. I count it a privilege to be here with Anne. She’s a wonderful teacher. Last night she preached on the Abrahamic covenant from Genesis 15 SO powerfully... I wrote a hymn to go along with it and sang it as a surprise to her this morning. It has some silly moments that pertain to some of the illustrations she has used with our group, but it also celebrates the incredible promise that God gave Abraham about his descendants. Anyway, it was a lot of fun and a true joy.
This is my last ministry trip for the fall - I’m ready to be home! Scott’s installation service as the Twenty-Fifth Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Baraboo is Sunday, November 22nd at 5.00. That week we also will celebrate my mom and dad’s 55th wedding anniversary.. and then we’re coming up quickly on the streak of Seefeldt Birthdays - during the 12 Days of Christmas, we have three of them! My big goal for 2010 is completion of my Christmas CD - I’m really excited. Hard to believe, too, that it’s been a year since my carpal tunnel release surgeries. My hands feel terrific. Thank you, Lord!
